No qualifications are offered and no qualification is required other than that you are not in full-time work. There's no age restriction either!
Come and join us to learn, laugh and live!
Where are we?
Our members are drawn from towns as far apart as Shipston on Stour, Blockley, Moreton in Marsh, Chipping Campden, Broadway, Evesham, Stow on the Wold and Winchcombe as well as the many surrounding villages. We also welcome members from outside our immediate catchment area. We use a variety of venues within the area.
As a u3a we are not large - we have approximately 340 members who belong to 33 groups; we are very friendly and, with our size (or lack of it), it is almost possible to know everybody in all the groups.

Monthly Open Meetings, and more!
On the afternoon of the second Thursday of each month, we hold an Open Meeting in Willersey Village Hall when we are entertained and informed by a wide variety of speakers. (Click on Open Meetings for more details.)
We hold Christmas events and have a regular summer outing, We often have a Summer Soirée with in-house entertainment followed by a meal provided by members – and it has been known for drinks to be involved! We are currently organising our first Curry Night.
How our u3a works
Our interest group meetings are held during the day (except for Thursday evening skittles!). We publish a regular emailed Newsletter containing the latest news, updates, group information and forthcoming events together with all contact details. (Click on Groups to see the range of interests and activities available or Newsletters to view recent newsletters.)
Like all u3as we have a Committee to guide policy and involve themselves in the day to day running of the organisation, but the real backbone of the North Cotswold u3a is the Group Leaders. These are the people who prepare sessions, hire rooms and speakers and make our u3a what it is.
It’s all about friendship, keeping active in body and mind, and enjoying our leisure hours in ways that our parents would have envied.
Please spend a few minutes browsing through our website. It could be a life changing experience.
