Groups

Information about all our groups is listed below in an alphabetical list. It is easy to sort the groups by category, meeting day or venue for your convenience.

Venues and charges

Groups meet in various venues ranging from member's homes to local halls and hostelries. They are informal and friendly. There is a small charge for joining or attending some groups - this may be to cover the cost of hall hire or refreshments, for example. See the individual group's page for details.

Start a new group?

If you don’t find what you’re looking for in this list, or the group you are interested in is currently full, then why not start a group yourself? The u3a works on the principle of cooperative self-help. So if you have an interest, why not share it? It only takes two or three people with similar interests to form a group - and then others will join in. Contact our Group Coordinator if this appeals to you.

Group membership requirements

It is essential to be a member of North Cotswold u3a before joining a group. This is for insurance purposes and to ensure there is capacity in the group for new members.

The Group Leaders give up an enormous amount of their time for free and should not be expected to be out of pocket for their efforts. Please ensure that any group charges are paid promptly. We thank you for your understanding.
